Vans Chukka Low Review!

These are the ones that I personally have. They are called the Vans Chukka low Charcoal Gum "Jamie Harts":

This will be a run down on the Vans Chukka low, skateboarding shoe. First off, this shoe is a very comfortable fit for any shoe size or shape of feet. They have a very comfortable cup sole that not only makes walking feel comfortable but they also have a very grippy sole that takes quite a while to wear away. As soon as you purchase this shoe, unlike other vans, which include some Authentics and Eras, this shoe does not need any “ breaking in”. Unlike the Authentics, Era’s, and many other styles of Vans, the Chukka low’s also do not wear away at your heel, specifically in the Achilles Tendon area, causing a rash or bruise to appear. The shoe’s inner padding gives the feel of the inside of the shoe a very comfortable snug feel, with it being just wide enough to mold perfectly to your type of foot. As far as skating these shoes, that is also another plus for the Vans Chukka low.  They are extremely good for skating because they have excellent board feel, along with a three-layer rubber toe protection. The rubber takes about a month and a half of hard skating and flip tricks to wear away, but if addressed early, these shoes can last up to a year with shoe goo. The one minor downside to these shoes is that they do not have lace protection. You will go through a lot of laces if you are skating them frequently, and rips as well as tears will occur as time elapses while skating this shoe. This is definitely a shoe I would recommend to anyone interested in them for skating, or just for casual wear, and they are not very expensive either.
