Youtube Video of the Week: Episode 1 Shoenice22

From today until the day I stop breathing; I will be doing a video series called YouTube video of the week. This series will be a mixture of funny videos, creative videos, and down right stupid videos that need to be seen. I plan to review some of the funniest and most helpful Youtubers that I am subscribed to. The reason I am doing this is in order for you to broaden your interest as well as to subscribe to them for their quality videos in order to get your daily laughs or helpful information.

Now onto the video! The video that I chose today was a video from a fairly famous Youtuber called Shoenice22. I would personally describe his videos as funny, ballsy, and pretty idiotic. The basis of his channel is a majority of stunts that your average human being would never think of trying. His stunts include ingesting many different toxins, as well as high amounts of alcohol. Now I know a high percentage of college students do drink alcohol, which is why I decided to choose this video as Youtube Video of the week. In this video Shoenice decides to take on a bottle of 160 proof Devil’s Spring’s Vodka. In simpler terms, he is taking on death in a bottle. The reason I say this is because not only is he drinking one of the highest proofs of alcohol allowed in the United States, but he is also drinking it all in one sitting, which is just asking for trouble. This video although being hard to watch due to the fact that the outcome of drinking the alcohol cannot be good in the end, still makes the video funny because of the childish way that he speaks to his viewers. Shoenice although being very controversial in many aspects due to his removal from the King of the Web competition (KOTW), still seems to be the same person since his very first video that he made when he had 1 subscriber, to now having over 130,000. This guy has over 300 videos in his gallery of him drinking and eating unthinkable things, and he is definitely worth clicking the subscribe button. See you next week for Episode 2 of Youtube video of the week!

Sam es Deado!!!!!!!!!! Music Video Review

The video that most Odd Future fans have been waiting for is finally out. It was released yesterday on June 28, 2012. If you are unaware of what I am referring to, the video correlates with the newly released song from Odd Future’s Vol. 2 album (Sam is Dead). I must say this video is a lot different than I expected, but what can you really expect from Tyler the Creator? Tyler in my opinion is one of the most all around unpredictable artists out right now. Sure everyone would expect the video to be different, and taboo, but I do not think anyone expected the video to be in a military setting. Nonetheless, the video is great  in my opinion but definitely not Tyler’s best work. The song She (Ft. Frank Ocean) from his previous album Goblin in my honest opinion was one of his best work, because the video had many matching elements that all went together and made sense. The video for Sam is Dead definitely is creative as well as very taboo. It lacks the connection with the audience regarding the audio. A lot of the video breaks within the video do not match with the song, and almost have a Hollywood attribute to them. There were also some unnecessary scenes in the video that did not match the song. All in all, the video was definitely creative, fun to watch, as well as a very nice piece of artwork made by Tyler although having minor flaws. If you would like to watch the video just click the link above.

Supreme Apparel, worth it or not?

In my honest opinion, Supreme hats and products are definitely worth it. They are a very good investment for a number of reasons. The main reason that they are a good investment is because they are very easy to make profit off of, if you buy them from their original store’s site, or if you purchase a hat from a third party on the internet. If you buy a Supreme hat and you decide to re- sell the hat, there is a chance that you can make a profit of between 15- 200 on the hat itself, depending on the year it was released, as well as the rarity. The entire money making aspect of Supreme hats is not solely based on the hats themselves, although the hats are one of the most popular commodities that Supreme offers. The other apparel that Supreme offers can also make you profit as well but the prices of those items are a bit higher, and you would need to hold onto them longer depending on the product, in order to see rising profits.

The other reason that Supreme hats are worth the money that you pay for them, is because they are extremely unique, and everyone loves the box logo.  Chances are, if you are not from New York, or California, you will not see many people on the street with Supreme products. The reason that is so, is because there are only two Supreme stores in the United States, which are both located in New York, as well as in California. The hats are extremely comfortable, which is also another plus for them being worth the money, are come in a variety of color ways that could suit anyone’s interest.

If you are a skateboarder, or just a fashionable person and are thinking of buying this product, I would definitely recommend it. Previously I had a purple Donegal Camp Cap, which I made 20 dollars off of. After I was tired of the Purple Donegal, I sold the cap and downgraded to a Black Velvet camp cap, which I currently wear now, which is very sleek and comfortable for skating.

To begin, I have never seen any interest in freestyle skateboarding until I viewed this video. This video featuring Kilian Martin, a freestyle skateboarder has a very euphoric effect.  Starting from the beginning of the video which looks staged almost as an old school Hollywood movie gives the film also a very suspenseful feel, because the viewer is unsure of what Kilian is going to do since he is driving along a very old dusty path. The transition between Kilian exiting his vehicle, to jumping on his skateboard makes the video very exciting. The tricks themselves are extremely impressive. Hand grabs, flips, one footed manuals, etc. The desert setting, along with the fabulous credit to the editor as well as Kilians clean tricks make this definitely one of the BEST freestyle skateboard videos out on YouTube right now. The video has almost 500,000 views on some channels, and more on others. Even if you do not skateboard, you will still appreciate this video it is a must watch!

A new method to removing oil stains!

Researchers in Boston have discovered a new way to remove oil stains on old pieces of art work, by simply figuring out which oil was used when stained on the piece of art work. By figuring out which oil was used on the piece of artwork, this leaves researchers only with the job of using a new and improved method of portable nuclear magnetic resonance, which is used to feel how much energy and pulse of radio the field can take, before a certain type of substance such as oil, becomes sensitive; which in return reveals which oil was used on the piece of art without damaging the piece of artwork.

This is very important to science and biology, for the main reason that every aspect of life has mainly to do with science, and although most people never correspond art with science, now as you can see, lots of research and science has to do with art, because the use of scientists, and researchers help artists solve problems of this caliber.

We care about this type of information, because it is just plain od interesting. At least in my case, I thought that the way that they went about removing the oil stains was really interesting. This also shows the hard work that goes into removing stains on pieces of artwork that go into our public museums each and everyday to keep the revenue and followers of museums and public attractions of this matter.

Shoe Goo Review!

This will be just a quick review of the product called Shoe goo. As many skateboarders know, Shoe goo is probably one of the best tools that any skateboarder can purchase for definitely an affordable price. For a lack of better terms, this product definitely saves you from consistently having to buy shoes on a monthly basis. For those who are not aware of what Shoe goo is, I will inform you. Shoe Goo is a product that is used to cover any rips, tears, or holes in your shoe. The product is also waterproof as well, so its very useful in many other situations as well such as if you are going hiking and need to keep your boots protected and water proof.

Personally, I was skeptical of buying the product, mainly due to the fact that the WalMart that was closest to my home was forty minutes away. I ultimately gave in one day and purchased the product off of amazon for four dollars and seventy-five cents. I must say, that the product is worth it, especially due to the fact that I am an avid skateboarder. The grip tape on my skateboard deck consistently is ripping and causing friction against my shoes, which causes my shoes to wear away at an alarming rate, which is where shoe goo comes into play. My current shoes, which I have had for quite some time, now are vans chukka low, grey canvas to brown outlining. They were wearing away and almost on their last layer of rubber until I added Shoe goo to them. Shoe goo ultimately gives your shoes an extra layer of rubber that dries very efficiently, and sticks to many things including canvas, wood, rubber, etc. After waiting for a total of fifteen minutes, my shoes were finished drying, and they looked almost brand new. I can already tell that I am not going to need to purchase another pair of shoes for quite some time due to the fact that I have Shoe goo to patch all of the rips, tears, and holes in the bottom of my shoes. This product is definitely worth every penny, and even if you think that you do not need the product, it is definitely worth it to have lying around your house for emergency purposes, it is very useful and I would give this product a 9/10.

I must say, I have not bothered to listen to Mos Def since I was six years old. Mos Def was much more vibrant during the late 90s and early 2000s for me at least. I can remember the times when my brother would consistently bring posters into our room from a local shop called Skippy Whites. One of these posters had Mos Def’s picture, and he was definitely looked upon as one of the strongest MC’s during his time. This man is a lyrical genius. The surprising aspect of Mos Def to me is that he in a way, seems to have always flown under the radar. He has surprisingly acquired a gross income of 20 million dollars selling records, which definitely adds substance to why he is labeled as such a powerful MC in the rap industry. This song specifically, Hip Hop is definitely one of my top five favorite tracks from Mos Def. This song consists of a collaboration of sound tracks from different songs, which makes it so unique. Also, if you listen to his lyrics, they actually make sense, he is telling his story, which in return can be traced back to the history of not just himself, or hip hop but people which include blacks in times of slavery as well as in urban communities during his time.

New Discoveries!

Studies show that users and abusers of amphetamines face more than three times the risk of receiving a tear in the Aorta, which is one of the major arteries that carry blood out of the heart. Many Physicians say that such a tear in the aorta can lead to extremely permanent affects, along with the emergency having catastrophic potential. The tear of your aorta not only brings pain in the lower stomach area, but it also brings excruciating pain in the chest area for long periods of time. Patients that have suffered from such abuse have said that they have felt as if “ they wanted to die” .

The reason that this is important to biology and science, is due to the fact that scientists and researchers try their best to help the public, by fighting against substance abuse. They do this by telling the public the ingredients that are inside of the products that they could be inhaling into their bodies; along with other methods such as PSA’s which are used with children, that take facts from scientists and researchers to try to help teens and older adults from getting hooked on substance abuse.

The reason that we care about this, is mainly because everyone cares about their loved ones and their family members. Most teens do drugs in order to gain a higher social status within their social group. Teens will think twice about getting high when they realize that they can receive severe a chest pain for the rest of their life due to smoking. That does not sound appealing, and this is why we care, because we want to keep our loved ones safe, healthy, and happy.
